Sizing

All of our bridal gowns are one of a kind, and sizing remains true to the dress’s original vintage sizing when sourced, meaning that size can vary between gowns. Due to this, we highly recommend checking the measurements provided on each product listing.

As with most bridal wear, alterations may be needed for a perfect fit and Altir is no different. We recommend visiting a trusted seamstress who can alter the gown to fit your body for your special day.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or are in need of advice with any measurements.

Tips for measuring...

BUST

We recommend taking this measurement with a thin bra on. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape level across your back and comfortably snug not too tight. Relax your arms at your sides and breathe normally while measuring.

WAIST

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline usually just above your belly button. Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug without pulling too tight. Stand naturally and avoid sucking in your stomach for the most accurate measurement. Make sure the tape sits evenly all the way around your waist.

HIP

Stand with your feet naturally apart and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom (hip measurement is lower than you may think). Keep the measuring tape level all the way around your body. The tape should sit comfortably snug without digging in.
